The Hafler Trio: Stainless Floating Return(s)
Standard-8 footage from 1983/4 finally assembled into the originally intended format. the material features the only extant shots of the h3o hand-made stained-glass window which was in a UK church and has since been destroyed, experiments with ultrasound and undeveloped film, Ted Serios-like machinations, ghosts and other spicy flies. parts of this were used in "Alternation, Perception & Resistance" with the assistance of Lois Stone, and bits were used in some live performances. Soundtrack is an early mono(!) version of a section of "INTOUTOF" with The Rev. Alan Cook aiding and abetting matters very considerably. The last remnants of what was to be a very much longer piece. Stands alone now, awaiting your attention, gentle reader.
"I had always wanted to know more about this stained glass Andrew McKenzie had created, ever since I had heard about it in a conversation regarding the Sea Org album (I think you can still listen to it over there, be quick it might not stay up forever!). Unfortunately I am discovering this stained glass no longer exists in "real life", which gives this video an even stronger taste of rarity and otherworldliness. 5 stars indeed!"
